Use the context help
The help contains over 1100 topics written for Herbst Insight 2. It's worth using often. There is also a
separate help for the Report Designer.
The Herbst Insight Help system uses HTML to format and display information. You can jump or follow hyperlinks to other
topics within the Help system.
The Help Viewer provides an integrated table of contents and a full-text search feature so you can find information easily.
Book icons open to reveal topic entries and sub-books. The articles can contain
a list of related topics.
The Help Viewer also includes the Favourites tab which you can use to bookmark topics. This enables you to quickly display
topics that you refer to often.
Study the examples and tutorial
There is a tutorial for quick start to work with the system. Many of the examples were put together in direct response to
questions users have asked about how to use the programme. The examples illustrate the features of the programme: views,
pricing rules, etc.
Start simple, then go to the next level
This is a secret of champions. If you work your way from one easy level to the next, then you can end up a very
skilful user.
