Herbst Insight introduces a fully integrated weighbridge system connected to any electric output weighbridge or manual weight inputs. Parameters on weighed items can be stored for different pricing. For example, grain factors include moisture, bushel and protein, which result in different prices from user-defined parameters. Any other product may also have different parameters, with handling losses etc.

You can specify that the quantity and the weight of each unit be recorded. For example, if you purchase 5000 litres of oil, your weight should be 5000x0.0084 kg. The weigh document will calculate this information, and make any other checks superfluous. Deduction and quantity for pallets and containers can be recorded. Stock location, driver, truck, consignee, haulier and any other important information that has to be retrieved, traced or reported at a later time is noted.
Like all our documents, the note facility can keep a record of all unusual happenings. With the help of Herbst Insight the weighbridge becomes a very important control point within the company, and authorised personnel can instantly access all relevant data.
The weigh documents can be converted with one click to delivery/receipt documents, invoices or credit notes. After conversion, when reading an invoice, you can click on related documents and check the original weigh document in full detail. Alternatively, when viewing a weigh document you can access the related invoice and check pricing, gross profit and other vital information that keeps you up to date. Weights for warehousing or purely for weighing (not for accounting) are kept separate from the financial Insight accounts.

This enables you to have full warehouse control. The unique Herbst Grid views instantly supply personnel and management with all relevant information, provided they have been pre-allocated privilege rights by a supervisor. This includes customers trading, stock levels, location quantities and returns. The ability to use the drill-down facility, and selected grid forms with the Analyse and Total icons described in our Grid script, will give management instant and live access to all happenings, at any time, and allow them to make informed decisions.

Herbst Insight gives the inputs operative a powerful and easy-to-use control point for receipt or delivery of goods ordered, and records all relevant information. One fingertip converts the weigh documents to financial documents. Management can access totals or analysed information.
The accountant may track all movements with ease. All information can be retrieved via numerous pre-designed reports or customised user reports. Alternatively, select the grid and click on MS Excel to export the information outside the Herbst Insight environment.
